These scams work in plenty of ways but most promise you home based data entry jobs for a fee or link you to a site that puts a virus or spyware on your computer for more malicious purposes. However, there are lots of people out there who want to dampen those benefits by offering scams instead of legitimate opportunities. One of the biggest signs of a scams involved home based data entry jobs is the payment requirement. While there are some legitimate products out there, such as books, which can help you learn valuable information about getting started in this field, you should never have to pay in order to get the job. The truth is that these jobs can generate a decent stream of income for you if you're willing to work hard and if you're capable of tying relatively quickly and accurately. Will home based data entry jobs make you rich? That would be very unlikely unless you start your own company and find lots of clients then outsource the work for less than what you're getting paid.
